How should I dress when I come to Life Unlimited?

Dress casually. Our only requirement is that you wear something! Wear whatever doesn’t itch! But remember modesty is a big part of how Jesus called us to live.

Do you sing at Life Unlimited? What kind of music do you play?

Yes we do sing. We sing to praise God. We understand that sometimes singing together seems strange to people who haven’t yet developed a close relationship with God. So, please feel free to either sing or listen. Some people simply read the lyrics and listen. That’s OK. Our music is modern and up-beat. Sometimes it’s loud and a little rowdy and sometimes soft and reflective.

Do you have things for my children to do?

 

We love kiddos and encourage parents and grandparents to bring them to church! A cry room/nursery is available for mothers, fathers, babies, and supervised toddlers up to kindergarten age. We also have a play mat in the sanctuary for children to sit and play quietly next to their parents as we worship and hear the message. This fall we plan to begin offering Sunday School for elementary age children during the regular Sunday service.

Will you ask me to stand and introduce myself or speak during the service?

No way! We really want you to feel safe and comfortable at Life Unlimited. 

What is Life Unlimited? What does that mean?

In the book of John chapter 10, verse 10, Jesus tells us that he came so that we can have the fullest, most abundant life possible. Life Unlimited is a reflection of that promise. Unlimited Life includes unlimited mercy, forgiveness, peace, grace, power, love, acceptance, and compassion. 

Life Unlimited is a part of the Wesleyan Church. You can learn more about the Wesleyans, what they believe, their faith tenants, and theology at www.wesleyan.org.
 
At Life Unlimited we have what we call our Life Circles. This, very simply, is how we do church. 
  • We Love God- That’s just being in our weekly gatherings, expressing love for God with other Life Unlimited People.
  • We Love Others – That’s being part of a life group.  A Life group is a group of people who meet weekly to encourage one another and to grow in faith.
  • We Serve The World – That's where we reach out to our communities with acts of love and kindness.  We do this to demonstrate the love of God to those who don’t know Him.

I’m not a believer yet, and I really don’t know if I will fit in at your church.

Everyone at Life Unlimited is different. We all come from different backgrounds socially, economically, and ethnically. It is important to us that you feel welcomed, loved, and comfortable at Life Unlimited. We may not agree on every issue, but we can love and accept one another as we allow God to mold and shape us into who He designed us to be. 

Please understand that the unity of belief, purpose, and goals, are very important to us, however, we know that it takes time for someone to come into that unity. Trust must be built. Lives must be shared.

So, chances are you will fit very well at Life Unlimited. However, if you attend with us several times and decide we are not what you are looking for, we will help you find the church that does work for you. Life Unlimited believes that church matters, and it is very important to be part of a Bible teaching church. There are many good churches in our area. We can help you find one that fits.
